Mutual Fund Audit

Search any AMFI-registered fund, add it to your selected basket, and model SIP outcomes from historical performance. Live NAV and real CAGR are fetched from mfapi.in on demand, and TER can be layered on top to see fee drag.

How it works

Fund list: fetched live from api.mfapi.in/mf (~16K AMFI-registered schemes). Returns are computed from actual NAV history fetched on demand — no stored data.

CAGR is point-to-point: NAV today vs NAV 1/3/5 years ago (nearest available trading day). It is not rolling or SIP return.

TER is not available in any free public API. Enter it manually from the AMC monthly factsheet or AMFI's expense ratio page. Direct plans are typically 0.5–1.5% cheaper than regular plans — a difference that compounds to lakhs over decades.

What this assumes

  • Monthly SIP goes in before growth each month.
  • Step-up is applied once every 12 months, not every month.
  • Inflation is used to compute today's-money value of future corpus.

Historical fund mode

The trailing 5Y SIP return simulates investing on the 5th of each month using the loaded fund's NAV history. It is useful as a reality check, not a forecast.
